Pink wire on maf
Im have a shot on the pink cable from the maf, it was blowing the fuses as soon as i started the car, did a continuity check and it rings out fine, but also when i put either end of the pink cable and ground, i tried following the cable but can only get untill the back of the intake, and from the fuse, it seems it goes inside the car, does anyone know where does it run thru, where can i check to see if its cut, nicked, or pinched, does it plug anywhere else? thanks for any help

the reading would stay at 2.2, something like that he showed me, and accelerated, he said those numbers should increase as he steps on it, and they didnt move at all, tried anoter maf, known to work and did the same thing.

Pink wire is the 12v switched source. it goes over to the driverside of the car into the fuse boxes. for a fast fix cut your wire and tap off another local pink wire. this will get it working. the 12v is just the source and isnt nothing more then the power

Ya, you can either chase your tail looking for a pinch or just run a wire of you own of same guage.

The codes would help nail it down since there's other things on the ENG SEN fuse circuit besides the MAF (02's, and if M6 reverse lockout sol and skip shift). If you have LTs for example and an 02 harness shorts somewhere it'll fry the fuse. Usually P0102 for the MAF shows up first.

it does have lt's, it might be that then, can i just cut at the bottom of the fuse box, splice it there and run a straight wire to the maf plug, and splice it there, will this affect anything else? thanks for the help guys.

I'd see if you have a 02 wire too close/shorting or melted against a header - it's very common.

Yeah just running a new 12V for the MAF will get that going. But if the problem was due to an O2 wiring short, then you'll still have the blown fuse and the other circuits won't be active.
