They are by far the best wheels I've owned. They are some of the more expensive wheels, but they are worth it. The NBM WS6 in the pics was totaled in October and one of the wheels was damaged. I called HRE and got an order # and shipped it to them to fix. HRE has excellent customer service and I was never on hold for longer than couple minutes everytime I called. It cost less than half the price of a new one and the turn around was about 2-3 weeks. I used to work at a performance and rim ship so I've been through quite a few sets of wheels. I've had 17's & 18's, ZR1's, 17's & 18's Z06 motorsport, 18x8's & 18x10's Foose Nitrous, 19" Foose Speedsters, 20" Dub Trump Spinners(for my Trans Am show car). Finally, It took a while, but I finally decided that I wanted a High Quality multi-piece wheel, so I got the HRE 547's. I've had 4 Trans Ams and IMO, they look good with a split five spoke or a solid five spoke like the 545's. I've been debating on selling them and getting another set with a wider lip on the rear.

Pics of the 02 Black(not for long) WS6 coming soon.
Love it! I really like the clear/white sidemarkers. It makes a huge difference. My orange ones have got to go now that I see yours.

I bet it's the front tires. The front wheels are 18x9.5's and the tires are 275/40/18 michelin pilot sport. The profile is a bit too tall for an F-body. The rear wheels are 18x10.5's with 295/35/18 michelin pilot sport. If I don't sell the wheels and tires before I need new tires, I'll probably go with a 275/35/18 or even a 265/35/18. They are now on my Black(for now) 2002 WS6 which has an eibach sportline lowering kit. I've got a splitter from 6litereater that I can't wait to put on. Both the lowering kit and the splitter really set the car off and give it a really aggressive look. Pics coming soon. If anyone is interested in my HRE's or my stock 2002 WS6 17's with 275/40/17 with Goodyear F1 Supercar's in great condition, contact me back at badazzta@hotmail.com or at LS1tech.com screen name badazzta00. Thanks.

Thanks. Here's a link from 6litereater that shows Camaro's, Formulas, and Trans Ams with splitters on them. My car is about to go into the paint booth and I'm not going to put it on until my paint job is finished.

I feel I have to comment on this as of some-what I have an art background with every year in high school I had art, took art in college, and also received an Dempsey Essick art award; which is by an artist. By what you are saying, everything that has blue and black does not go together. That means some clothes that I have don't go together, what about my window tint on a blue car, its black; my external hard drive is even blue and black. Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and etc. you can order the bikes with blue and black scheme with black wheels. Now I have to back up on the artist thing you said with some examples. Vincent Van Gogh "The Starry Night" and Pablo Picasso "Old Guitarist" both have blue and black as their primary color uses. So I have to say what your saying is a personal preference along with any artist or interior designer or car enthusiast...it is a personal preference on what they like. To knight721, get what you want and enjoy it. I never regret getting black wheels as I thought it would make the car stand out more and it did.

Also, don't get me wrong, I like chrome and polished wheels, but black wheels was my personal preference.

    Thanks brother,
My new Navy Uniform also has black and blue. I'll see if some one wants to trade their black wheels for my crome ones.

Those are Ruff Racing 278's I think. Those are a really popular design. They are quite a few companies that make that style. Personally, I like the look that rivets give to the wheels. Unlike my HRE's, the Ruff Racing wheels are 1 piece and the rivets are only cosmetic. You can get this style in a 1 piece or multi-piece wheel without rivets. If you're looking for a higher end wheel, check out the CCW 505A's that retail for around $2800 a set without tires or check out the HRE 897R which are a 3 piece wheel with hidden hardware. The HRE's however, cost around $6,000 a set (18's) without tires. I'm sure that if you searched around there are other companies that make a style similar to these that cost much less. Good Luck.
