Just an update........
First of all I would like to thank all of you for your help on this forum....As some of you may know I had a "system too lean" issue after getting my car tuned.......I returned to the tuner this weekend, he triple checked everything, he even put the stock tune back in........while the stock tune was in he noticed that I had a horrible miss on cylinder 5......he said that is probably what is causing the lean issue.......we return to his shop and he pulls the plug and it wasn't even the right plug!!!! Turns out the dip shit that did my tune up middle of last year had put in 4 right plugs (drivers side) and 4 wrong ones (passanger side) he replaced all 8 plugs with NGK and the car runs like new.........no more Service Engine Soon light and no more System too Lean..............comments and suggestions are welcome~Chris

It's the same guy that rebuilt my transmission....make a long story short I will be making a little visit, to his shop tomorrow morning it's not going to be good...I had to get the Better Business Bureau involved to get him to fix my trans that he f'ed up

me too thanks man
I plan on doing it after work today......should I ask them to reemburse me for the other mechanic fixing it or just let it go?....it has been quite a while!
if it wasn't for the transmission i would have done it myself.....just shows you can't trust anybody these days....

i figured the miss would cause it to run rich on account of not burning the injected fuel
but glad its fixed, i had a similar problem and it was a spark plug wire that wasn't even attached.

I would definatly go and ask for some cash. he didn't even do the job you paid for. You paid to have all your plugs changed(using the right plugs is part of that job). I would ask hime to atleast refund the money you paid him for the job he didn't do properly. Sometimes mentioning that you will be reporting him to the BBB if the problem can't be resolved. It may change his mind or he may just be a hack who doesn't care.
