I would love to here the other side of that story and listen to the preceeding conversation which lead up to that officer using "excessive force"- because that's most likely what it's going to be be ruled as. That girl could have been running her mouth from the very beginning to that officer and he snapped.

Now I'm just a rookie, but I literally just got off the tarmac from some training involving dealing with people in your face, swearing at you and calling you every name in the book. It can be hard to keep your cool, especially if that girl was running her mouth. Think of situations you've been in where some asshole insults you, your gf, wife, mother whomever and how hard it's been not to smash someone...cause we've all been there. Cops catch that shit every day and can't do shit about it because of that "higher standard.

Those shots to the upper body/head are going to cost him and of course she's got the automatic role of the helpless victim.

A cop shot and killed an unarmed man at the B.A.R.T station in Oakland, CA a couple months back. Let's just say he is sitting in the Alameda County Jail in ISO (short for isolation), all by his self in order to be protected from other inmates that literally want his ass.

This is all after he received death threats to his wife and kids and had to relocate them out of the state. He was recently arrested and charged w/ 1st degree murder.

I just watched the video and it's pretty fucked up that a guy kicked a girl half his weight in the crotch, punched her, threw her face into the wall, grabbed her by the hair and threw her on her face again while putting a knee into her..all for some harsh words and shoe toss.....i mean really??

I mean, if we are looking down the barrel of the slightly single-minded yet (supposedly) most fair judicial system here in the U.S. of A., then yeah, the cop is in the wrong. He was not wrong to restrain her, but the punches thrown when she was down on the ground was probably not a great idea.

But if we look at this dillema from a broader perspective, what do we see? We see a 15 year old skank whose parents have obviously raised wrong. She breaks the law, and a man helps make our society more civilized. Unfortunately by beating her he only strengthened the cause for those who support reparations for this country's slaves' posterity, and furthered racial tensions (probably) across the United States.

So where do we stand? In exactly the same spot we were in before this happened. It doesn't matter. These are modern times and I guarantee cops across America have beaten the shit out white people and black people alike.
