Did she threaten him/his life? She admits she was upset with him and talking back to him (for arresting her).

Third, by the letter of the law - she assaulted a police officer.

So, she's been picked up for being in or driving a vehicle reported stolen, she's been talking shit to him all night, then the final ending was the kicking of the shoe at the cop.

He's *only* suspended because of a) innocent until proven guilty and b) protection by his union.

And her wanting justice? It's nothing but wanting a big fat payout from the city. This whole thing smacks of a set up. Report the car stolen, give the cop that arrests you as much attitude as you possibly can until he/she snaps, play the race card, then wait for the moneyhats to be delivered. If the cop doesn't snap, then the mother conveniently says "I didnt know my daughter had it, so sorry officer, but thank you. I dont wish to press charges".

I never even thought of it that way. It makes a lot of sense. Some good insight with that one. You could very well be right, and you could also be very far from the truth. I'd like to say you are closer to right than wrong, but you never know. Either way, she didn't deserve a beating like that, at all.

When i worked at Olive Garden people came in with the intention of claiming someting was wrong with the food and raise hell until they got it for free.
