Did I buy an Illegal Knife?

O, I didnt care at all. I always thought knifes like this were illegal. Then my Matco tools guy showed me these. Brand new to him also. I had to have it.
I can not use this at work though. If you forget to turn the safety on, that thing will open and bite your ass.

Ive got a Bokar that flips out with the press of a button. Havent had any problems around cops with it.

schrade went out of business is what i was told. i buy knives in bulk to resell and he claims they are no longer in business, but then again he is trying to sell them to me like as if there wont be anymore so ill pay more.

got 2 back at the house and 1 down here at school (shhh dont tell anybody)
got like a bagillion switch blades too....couple up to 5.5" blades
I sell them to little kids...just tell em they're illegal and they want them more than anything

I think those are infact illegal to carry, but the fact that its not double edged might make it legal since most of the laws on auto openers are in reference to switch blades. Kershaw has some nice assisted openers as well. Theres a raised portion of the blade on the back side. Give it a little push and they pretty much open themselves like the one you have, except they don't come straight out. I think I need to get me one of those though.
