Take the air off the exhaust manifold and remove the coil packs.

that passenger side is a pain but just keep at it with a swivel and some different extension combinations after you take the coil packs off. I think I may have used a 1/4" drive with a 3/8" adapter the first time to get #8 out of there when I was on stock manifolds.

I get that #8 plug from underneath. I've done it both with the cats and without. Much easier without the cats in place. I had a hard time squeazing my forearm past the converter but it works. I'm standing up with the car on a lift though, laying on your back might be a challenge.

I found #8 to be easy. With the car on Rhino ramps, I got it from underneath with the stock cats in place. Hardest part about it was getting the socket on the plug, there's very limited swing for the ratchet so I had to keep turing the socket little by little till it lined up with the plug. I don't remember why now, but I know I had a very hard time putting the socket on the plug, then putting the ratchet on the socket, so that's why I did it the other way.
For the others on that side, I unbolted the AIR fitting on the manifold and moved it out of the way. I tried to get the coils off, but couldn't get the last bolt so I left them. Beleive it or not, I got the other 3 plugs out by using my 3/8 ratchet with a standard plug socket and alternating my 2" and 3/4" extensions. No swivels or anything like that. You need to kneel on the battery and brace yourself with your right hand on the intake, and with the left hand pull straight up on the ratchet.
I guess it depends on how big a guy you are. I'm fairly slim, with smaller hands and forearms, so I can get in the tight places. If you have big hands and popeye forearms, forget about getting that #8 by going by the cat.

Go to Autozone and get this http://greatnecktools.com/product_in...chet-with-lock
No having to go under the car or remove coil backs. I change change them out in 1 and a half hrs. Stock manifolds.
