Red Fire- 2007 Mustang GT/CS
Rev'd on by my old SS..
Last night on my way back to the house, I see a white SS with a Manta graphic coming up behind me..
Sure as Shit, it's the car I just traded in...<sigh> and Damnitall... I KNOW I can't take this car... Lord I Know it..
Guy slides up along side me and rips off a couple of 5k ish rev's..
and GRINS at me in my 07 bone stock GT..
I KNOW I am gonna get romped on, but I down shift and get after it.
I think he was waiting for a honk or whatnot.. but if you rev at me, get ready to go dammit.
I got a car or so out and then BOOM..So that's what my old car looks like as it leaves ya..Sounds good too ..
Just thought I would share, some of you may get a good chuckle out of it.
SS 1..GT/CS 0.
Altho my pain is lessened by the immense clouds of black/blue smoke it was belching... He has some serious cash expenditures coming..
This also I know..I beat that thing for three years.. poor bastard, if he had slowed back down I would have told him the passenger side of the block is going to need the Tine inserts like the drivers side had last year..(head gasket anyone) and a couple of other things.
He'll find out tho.
Still sounds good tho.

Seriously, I would have chatted him.
"Hey, want to race?"
"No thanks, not worth it"
"Why not?"
"I already know how fast your car is"
"Yeah, and how do you know that"
"I built it... have fun rebuilding it"
"Wait...what???"
--- Leave.

That's a great story! One of the best I've seen hit the kill section in a while! Nothing like getting killed by your old ride!
