hey Sarge, how do i tell whether i have a newer, or older motoer in my 04 goat....they have two different head bolt lenghts depending on motor

id tag? in the door? would that tell me the engine year? or doi have to go by the vin#?

does that let you know what the engine date is or just the car?

i never noticed til just now that right in the door it says manufactured by Holden car company for GM

Rule of thumb is to subtract 10 months from your build date (on your tag) and you have the build date of your motor.
