new cam tuning
today I ordered a new cam for my 04 a4 GTO. its a hr284 grind, cam specs are = 220/224 .570/.580 112lsa.
I already have the car tuned via a friend's hptuner program for the parts I have installed now = pacesetter LT's, 3" dual exhaust, CAI/ram air, p&p tb, 918comp springs, 2,800 tci stall, bumped the timing tables and deleted TM.
my question is with the new cam, will the car still start and run good enough for us to tune it, or do I need to modify the tune before first fireup.
thank you guys!

looks like I'm also going to be porting my stock 241 heads too when starting my tune where would the best place be to start and any advice?
I know I shouldn't go over 85 % duty cycle on my injectors. should I still be ok with my stock injectors on this setup or will I be close to maxing them out?
thanks again!

I begin with a base and then get the cars up to hot idle so that the base airflow can be setup at the TB. Once the IAC counts are where you want and the car will idle fine, move on to VE...

I work a *LOT*
Look for (should be ideally) IAC counts in the 50-70 region at hot idle with that cam in this weather. Int he summer time they will drop lower with heat, and you don't want to go too low with them, you don't want the IAC hitting 0 in the heat and losing control of clamping idle.

if you have trouble keeping it running you can also raise the idle rpm's a tad
