The Hundred Dollar Hot-Rod
So I bought this car off craigslist...
For $100.00
No Bullshit... Guy wanted $1000, Tranny wouldn't shift, 1 headlight broken, and a rip in the drivers leather... he didn't tell me about the tranny before I drove 150 miles to see the car. So I told him, you know, It really isn't worth $1000 to me. It involves more work than I want to put in. He says, "what IS it worth???". I said, "What's the least you'd take for it???"
No shit, he says, "To be honest... I'd take $100 for it right now, I NEED the money, I'm moving outta town &"
Title & d.l. addy were legit, got it in my name the next day.
T.P.S. was bad, wouldn't let it shift.

I'm thinking we will see more and more deals like this as jobs are lost. Kinda keeping my eyes open for a hell of a deal on a 4th gen Firebird or even a C5 myself.

patience, it took LOTS of patience.
Truth is, I'd have given him the grand for it.....
Just wanted to see if he'd budge...

I remember that car now.......
It was used in a drive by shooting. Maybe thats why it was so cheap.
