I gone and done it now... lol... ANOTHER CAR!!
Well... I went home for Thanksgiving and well bought another car!! Shoot me please! As some of you remember I just got another one a few months ago. This one needs a little more work but I have most of the parts to fix it. Just not bringing her down till after this next deployment so she's sitting at my buddies house. Oh and she's a real 68 Impala SS... hard as hell to find parts for which stinks!!
The previous two... which I still have with me...
The new addition to the family...
I really need to get the clipped springs out of there and get her back up to the height she belongs as you can see along with getting the retarded stickers off her sides.
Here is a video of some history on this car... the main reason I bought it. haha I love a car with history.
Ok, so the frame is still straight, just needs the front end pieces and suspension. Along with transmission which I have and the rear and some other things. The engine can be rebuilt which it has a 65 327 corvette engine with the 350hp...

For the Impala... I spent $500. Has the engine and everything including heads that had alot of work done to them. The engine is about torn down to a short block. I'm actually going to put the heads and cam from the Impala into the Chevelle for now. I got it for that so my buddy could get the work done to his tranny in his 70 Monte Carlo. It's been sitting in that spot for the past 3 years or so. I didn't want to see it parted out when it could be fixed... and couldn't beat a 500 price tag.
As of right now I'm keeping the Chevelle. I'm alot more willing to sell the Mustang lol... damn Fords

congrats man!
my 1st car was a '69 Impala Caprice classic coupe. no engine or tranny, but i got it for $100. dad and i spent 9 months restoring it, dropped in a 427 and converted the auto on the column to a muncie 4spd on the floor. fun ass car i drove in hs. glacier blue w/a white vinyl top and blue interior...
i miss that car, though selling it led me to bigger and better things...Last edited by SSwt00SS; 12-01-2008 at 10:10 AM.

Impala has tons of potential. 65 is my favorite year, but I love the 68, 69 grilles.
Id' love to have a big-block 65. Congratulations on the new edition.

The Impala had alot of work done to it... HAD. In the video I put up they say there was no reports of it racing. Well it was my buddy's friends kid who was driving it. He said he was racing a kid he knew with a LS1 with exhaust and was beating him. The heads had about 2k worth of work done supposibly along with 3k in the rear.... that's SHOT along with a very angry cam. So for a whale of a car it would get back w/o a BB
