I saw Avenged Sevenfold live on Friday night.

So, i went to see a concert at the Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center on friday night. 4 Bands. Saving Abel, Shinedown, Buckcherry, and Avenged Sevenfold.

I was kinda pissed when we got to our seats, 'cuz Shinedown was already 4 songs into their set, and they were the ENTIRE reason i made the 55 mile trip to go to this show. When Buckcherry came on, i probably stood for 3 of their songs, and sat for the rest of their set. I dont really care too much for them, but they put on a decent show.

It was my first time seeing Shinedown, and they are my second favorite band. They were really good as a band live, but the singer was hard to hear 'cuz he kept pulling the mic away for the bigger vocals, but they weren't picked up too well. It was also my first time seeing Avenged Sevenfold live, and man....they fucking ROCKED!! I dont really care for too much of M. Shadows vocals on their newer stuff that much, but that guy can fuckin' scream.

All in all it was a good show. I totally missed Saving Abel 'cuz they were the first band on. Didn't really care 'cuz i dont like them anyway.

Just thought i'd share with you guys...and gals.

i'm not a huge fan of them either, but i do like a lot of their music. i just went to see shinedown. but i thought A7X put on a good show. They sounded better live than on their albums. I dont have any of their CDs or anything, but i do like their EARLY stuff, like, their first 2 or 3 albums. Waking the Fallen has some good songs on it. Remenissions is a bad ass song.

Being a guitar player in a metal band, I think Avenged Sevenfold is pretty lame. I even saw them at Ozzfest (not by choice) and they played the main stage and I was very unimpressed. They're very mediocre in all aspects and most people who are fans of them have never picked up an instrument themselves.

He did damage them, but they are back to normal after some rest. I think A7X is awesome, their lead guitar player is badass.

they say A7X is lame, well is lame. I know alot of people do not like M. Shadows, but Synyster Gates is the shit, one of my favorite guitarists. And as for drummers, The Rev is insane, he is by far the most talented guy in the band. I think there is hardly anybody who can rival him on the drums as of right now.

They may not be what you are into, but that does not mean they suck.

Speaking of we are having a house party on dec. 14........... we are going to have Fear Before the March of Flames playing at our house!!!
