Stuttering problem
hey all, I just recently did the haltech ram air tunnel port mod and cut behind my plate to let air into the engine compartment. I noticed a good difference in power, but at cruising speeds the car seems to stutter a bit. Almost hesitate when applying the throttle. I've got headers, exh and a blackwing. The only other thing is I de screend the maf. Any thoughts on what the stuttering could be?

Did you descreen the MAF at the same time you installed the ram air? Were you really careful when you did descreen it? I know those things are super sensitive. You may now be getting a low voltage reading on it. I was told by my tuner that on Vette's and Camaro's it is not advisable to remove the screen because it's a straight shot right through them, whereas on the trucks for example, it is advisable because they are at an angle.
Just his advice, not mine, because I removed mine [the screen] on my SS Camaro while installing a SLP cold air induction kit, and wound up having to replace the MAF after doing so.
