Silver TA w/ white top
I think we have a pretty rare car and was wondering if anyone knows where to find out how many of mine might have been built. The car is a silver 98 with white top, white leather seats and charcoal interior. I'll post some pics...also the car has firebird seats, not the ones with the ribs on the sides I normally see in the TAs.

they probably are TA seats.. mine doesnt have the ribs either.. just depends on year...
charcoal is more common on 98-00 cars...

Why wouldn't that be an option????
There was an 02 SS convertable forsale on here not too long ago. It was white with white top and white interior,,,,so I don't see why silver with a white top would be any more obscure.Sounds like a possible color combination to me. Should be easy enough to find out.

white interior was an option, ive seen black T/As with factory white interior/top. Could have been a custom order or a dealer upgrade sort of thing. Can't say as ive ever seen a silver one tho.

Yep I'm aware the white interior was an option,,,,,also the white tops were factory options too,,,,I'm just curious if it was offered with the silver paint or not.
You can look over camaro production numbers for Verts and see that every year there were roughly 40-50 cars produced with white convertable tops but there is no body color breakdown. I'm sure GM made the birds the same way,,,any reason not too????
As I said there was a triple white 02 SS here forsale a while back. Pretty cool looking if you ask me.

White seats were a special factory order. I almost bought a 99 hard top Z28, with white seats, charcole interior. But:

Check and see if thats the way the car was ordered of if its custom. If its the way the car came, thats the first time ive seen it. Someone might have had the Convertible top re-covered because they though black looked bad.
Wow lots of North Carolina people, just noticed.

I do have the window sticker...factory car. Not sure how many were made like this, but pretty sure there weren't many.
I get nice comments on it all the time. It's really nice with the white leather. You can leave the top down and the seats don't get hot.
Who knows...maybe it'll be worth something one day. We don't drive it much and right now it only has 40K miles on it.

Blue 1997 Trans Am(Sold)- Pewter 2001 Trans Am Vert
check the door jam sticker to see what the codes are for the paint, interior and top color that will tell right there if its been changed or if its factory... my car has a different scheme on all counts so I can't help you much but I'm sure a search for what each code is would be pretty easy...
