Dumbass of the year award
Tourist gets out of his vehicle to film a lion.
You can guess the rest...

I feel bad for the fact that his family had to witness it though..

I would hope that if I were in ever in a similar situation, I would have the presence of mind to crank up the car and start running over lions to try to prevent the guys family from having to watch daddy get eaten.
But who knows until you are there...

If someone would have had a gun in the glove box, he may have had a chance.

It's really intense.

Here is the only dialog I've found on it.

The other video they are talking about at the bottom is my buddy's video.
It's funny watching those dumbasses talking about something they have no idea about.

Ok, I found my customer's video.
The real story on this is that he went to Africa to hunt cape buffalo or some shit. Lion hunting is usually illegal in the area where he was at.
It just so happened that while he was there, the lion you see in this video killed a game wardon the day before. Once a lion becomes a man eater, then they are legal fair game.
My customer's outfitter caught wind of the now available hunt, and here we go-

I had a longer version of this vid on my office computer, one that shows them in the 15 or so seconds after it was over, and the first thing Bryan said to the guide was, "was that close enough for you?" He was very cool about it all things considered.
Hunters will find it interesting that the guide was using an open sight rifle, which was exactly what was needed for that last shot. You'll notice in the slow motion replay that the guide shoots the lion right as he is leaping, and the lions legs come our from under him like he was short ciruited.
That saved Bryan's life. Obviously.

In the Faces of Death video (don't remember which one) a grizzly or large brown bear kills and eats a guy who was taking pictures of it. 2 cars were in it. The guy behind was filming the car in front where the photographer was. Lady driving the photog car is throwing bread to the bear. Mr. Bear is happy and content sitting there being fed. The guy gets out of the car and is taking pictures of the bear over the roof, over the hood, and then from behind the bear as the lady is telling him the whole time, "Honey, I'm running out of bread!" Bear looks around...no more bread...snatches him up and fucks him up on tape.
Actually, pretty funny, except they probably killed the bear later.

It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
The bear was ok
