Some DMV's in certain states will give you a suspension on your license after a conviction. Lots of states do it on a point system and previous tickets combined with a reckless driving conviction will put you over the top = suspended license. Another problem you might have is the speed. In some states ANY speed over eighty can result in a suspension (here in NC it's thirty days), but some technicalities can affect that.

Suffice it to say you need to take that ticket seriously. I'm pretty sure that's a required court attendance charge, so my advice is invest in an attorney. Don't low-ball the attorney either. Ask around and get a good reference. If you can't do that, look in the Yellow Pages and pick one that has years of local experience and does lots of traffic cases. Those attorneys usually know the prosecutors and that knowledge is invaluable to getting the best deal.
