avoiding water?
I was wondering if there is any way not to drag water on to the starting line with street tires I would just drive around it but the local track doesn't have room to drive around it
so is there anything I could do to lessen the chance of getting everything wet?

I think they pasted the law, that you have to do the burn-out !!! LOl !!!
At least do a short one to dry the tires.

Waterbox for street tires is about useless. As someone posted just clean em off and get them a bit warm. Lots of street tire shootouts around here. Seems like when im dicking around on the street that if I get them too hot they become slick and not the good kind of slick.
