the one that they started in texas was started in 91, spent 2 bill on it... then quit in 93... sold the rights to it to a construction company.. but it was right under where i live... supposed to be wayyyyyyyyyyy bigger and stronger... the power on the one going is like 17 lev or something and the one in texas was going to be 50... and its like 5 times longer as well... or was going to be sounds stupid to get that far and waste that money then quit... but oh well

ok looked it up... 54 miles... and 20 tev per beam...
superconducting super collider is what they called it...
so thats 40 tev compared to 14 tev of the lhc... and it got cancelled so they could contribute to the international space station...
random fact... the project was awarded to texas a month after i was born... arent i a youngin'
