I have seen the special in Discovery like a dozen times and every friggin time, I watch it wondering WHAT THE HELL IS THIS THING!!!

I'm not at all nerdy when it comes to that crap, and quite frankly its boring as hell, but I watch this show in the TV in utter amazement as to what the fuck costs so much, is so large, and still has no fucking explanation anywhere as to what the hell it really does.

I now know. And I'm still confused. Whatever, if someone finds it on TV let us know. I'll watch.

I voted for the first and second, because both will happen simultaneously As our asses are being sucked down the ginormous black hole, we will learn that it is not cool to make protons go boom.

the first attempt to circulate a beam through the entire LHC is scheduled for 10 September 2008, at 7:30 GMT and the first high-energy collisions are planned to take place after the LHC is officially unveiled, on 21 October 2008.

    awesome link!!!

now my concern, something thati overlooked is this...

with speed your mass will grow larger... a the speed of light your mass is dupposed to become near infinite... what about these particles???

its similar, its like looking at head on crash, in that the analyze the debris to figure out what the components were.
