Acetone increases fuel mileage?
Anybody have any thoughts or facts regarding the story I pasted here below?
I was thinking of trying it in my "beater" first. My only concerns off hand is would it mess with the O2 sensors, etc..? Regardless, it is an interesting story.

Will do. I'm gonna run it down to nothing (almost) in the tank, and then put it 10 gal. plus 1oz. of acetone. I will then follow my mileage.
Once that runs down to the fuel light coming down again I'll put in 10 more w/o acetone. I'll post results here.
