    Computer Help Please.

Ok I have Spy Bot 9search and destroy) Adaware 08 and now I am getting this Microsoft widow I can not get rid off that says there are dangerous
Win32/AdwareVirtumode, and my Fans are running a mph. I ran both the AdAware and it detects 116 problems but it will not fix them, I did the Search and Destroy and it also will not fix, and then the Spybot stays on the screen also. I just purchased a CA 9computer Assco.) virus,Phish,Spam over the internet and it does not fix the problem either. I tried to go to my add/delete to do away with the Spy Bot, and the Adaware because I have the CA now and I can't do that either.

Wel I could not do anything in safe mode, but my free Ad-aware detected a few that were fixed, and the free spybot search and destroy also did to that were fixed. I purchased a online CA Virus protection, and then re did my desk top back with my wall paper, deleted my cookis and so far it seems to be working fine. I guess since I bought a Virous that does the same as the Ad-aware , and Spybot I can delete them now right.

you don't want more than 1 anti virus program running. personaly i'd get norton anti virus but as long as the one you got has constant updates you should be ok...

Ca should be fine for AV.... The overhead is less than Norton but it is important to configure certain exclusions depending on what applications are running. Quickbooks, for example, needs a bit of massaging to allow it to work with CA in a Vista environment....

Just keep Lavasoft and Spybot passive, not active, and every couple of weeks run their updates and do a quick scan.
