I call mine... CAMARO...but I wonder what that actually means: what's the origin of the name "Camaro"? Is it an animal's name like the "Impala" or the "Barracuda"? On wikipedia there's kind of a weird explanation of its origin: they seem to believe the word "Camaro" would be be a derivation from the french word "camarade" which means "good friend" or "pal".
What do you think? Anybody got a clue?

From what I know, GM just made up the word and thought it sounded good.

My friends started calling mine elanor and its just stuck since then, cause of running from the cops and such, plus something always goes wrong with it. haha same as sandmanws7, just spelt wrong.

I had two Chevelle's. One 69, and the other 69 1/2.They were both Malibu 350's. I had the last one for 13 years.

I loved that car!!!

Long, long story. Not a happy subject for me.

But, I still miss it everyday
