I don't care about mileage. But its ok. I love beating all the M6's at the track.
I do agree, rowing through the gears is fun.

I looked for a long time to find a t-top T56 combo. I found a ton of autos cheap, but I had to have a stick. I'm sure an auto is still fun to drive but I've been driving grandpa and family cars for years now. I had to have a stick.

I actually like driving my M6 car back and forth to work. My A4 car is the modded "race" car.

I think 6 speeds are more fun, but I'm not stalled yet

M6 FTW if your a great driver that is very very consistant. (Which most are not) Either way, both are fun cars, but the M6 edges out on the fun department. Plus a M6 can brake better if you engine brake which isn't good for it but if you need to stop quickly to avoid a wreck. A4's and downshifting I have heard equal disaster. Driven both, I will stick with my M6. I don't plan on bracket racing or getting that far into it. Just low 10's is fine with me. Either way its all up to opinion "opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink". Both cars A4 or M6 are sweet cars and better then alot of shit. I don't understand the stalled statements. Have driven one and rode in one, fastest F-Body I rode in was a low 11's stalled auto. Didn't really add any excitement, M6 still felt better. What was sweet about his ride was he was spraying a big shot of giggle juice, which was awesome.

Hence the "Driven Both" statement.. I learned to read at a young age. Driven for more then days, buddy had a stalled auto, could drive it for as long as I wanted anytime I wanted. Not near as fun, plain and simple. But that is just MHO, some people like different things. To each there own, but me personally, I enjoy the M6. A4 maybe more consistant at the track but oh well, I don't care. But
to all F-Body owners, either M6 or A4. These cars are so fun, and so fast, and just plain rock.

QuickSilverMetallic- 2005 GTO M6
Ive owned a few of both, and they both do the job. But for control of the car and pure fun, I'll always prefer a stick. I drive in stop/go traffic both ways to work, and I still prefer my M6.
