Amibition is a very attractive quality, i had to break up with a guy because i asked him what he wanted to do with his life, and he said "win the lottery" and he was dead ass serious. I cant take that, i go to work everyday planning on going back to college, to be able to teach someday.. and make good money. i want someone who is looking to better themselves, on thier own and not by someone else's money. I dont look at money at all when dating a guy, if hes not making alot it doesnt bother me, but if hes ok with the minimum pay.. and isnt willing to work for something..thats a huge problem. Im going to find success with or without a man, so money isnt an issue when im dating someone.

Erm, did I miss something. This thread was started by a guy asking if he should stay with a chick to milk her dry. And by reading what I did of it, seems more then enough guys were willing to lie in wait to bleed her penniless without even having met or knowing a thing about her. Guess I just don't get what you mean. This is why Guy's hate women ? Not that I give a rat's ass what happens in the end. A Fool and their money are soon separated. Look at whatthefuckwashisname MC Hammer. F00L+Lots of Cash = Bankrupt Idiot. If you can live with yourself bleeding someone that trusts you dry, that's your call. If the chick trusts you enough to let you, well, that's a lesson she needed to learn anyway. Same goes for the guys that work their asses off and let the woman clean them out in divorce. All proves that Money did not really bring happiness. I was raised dirt poor. Hand me downs. First set of Levi's and Nikes I bought myself when I was 15. I can tell you that Lack of Cash sure as shit don't bring HAPPINESS either. Money brings power and comfort. Happiness comes from within.. period. My wife and I take down near 150k a year. More money means more crap, I don't love her more cause she makes 90k a year. I loved her to tears when she was poor as hell in college on a scholarship. Sometimes, heh, not very often tho, I miss the poor kids eating ramen and watching the small ass TV on a milk crate.
Good F-ing times those were. Can't say I am significantly happier on my king sized Sleep Number bed watching my 52" Plasma. More comfortable, sure.. Happier ? Don't think so.

money can buy happiness with financial security.. however money also causes fights and breaks ups
if you two already have BS problems, those problems will continue no matter how much money is involved. take your loss and move on. or if you feel you are getting along better and it will stay better then stay with her. Just dont put to much into "her potential/ relationship potential" and dont put alot into being optimistic that it will get better.
Once the problems are seeded they are there to stay, why avoid the invetible.
I've been in relationships with the thought of "it will get better and it didnt"
my current gf, Ive been with for four years and not one fight... fucking awesome.

I guess I gave the wrong title to the thread, I deffinately like the chick a lot and the reason were having problems is because she is going through a really tough time. And it was just starting to eat at me a ton. this is just more like a bonus, I would never enter into a relationship with someone that I dont think is an asset to me. And this just reassures me that she is an Asset and not a lilbility to me.
