Here's my new addition. I picked this one up this weekend. It's been about 5 years since I've had an F-body and I forgot how much fun it was until I got in this one to drive it home. Here is a few shots I snapped the other night...

I guess it would classify as major work but not too radical. FAST 90, N.W. TB, PRC 2.5 heads, Futral F13 cam, QTP LT headers would be the brunt of the motor work. It has the usual suspension stuff. Still has the stock clutch and rear end though so that will be remedied shortly.

i like the little peice of material on the lid to keep the hood from scraping it up, plus its a sweet lid.

Where did you find that air box lid and the engine covers?

It's an SLP lid. The prevous owner had the lid and covers custom painted to match the stripes.

Well, if it would stop raining and be so damn HOT!.. But I have to have the engine built, mated with the tranny.. get a rear end.. and get it put back on its wheels by August 10th. :nervous:

If you mean me... for now its gettin an LT1/6-speed... but down the road, I'm expecting a good rebuild or bigger.. with a turbo..

Ok thanks! I guess any type of material would keep the hood from rubbing the lid huu?

yep, just about anything should work. I think the MTI lids actually clears it though.

My car has the stock lid and I'd like to get one that doesn't rub the hood. I'll look into the MTI lid. Thanks.
