Each state has different laws.

Louisiana is a community property state –
1. Assets acquired before the marriage are separate property and stay with the initial owner after the divorce.

A couple can get out of the community property rules with a prenuptial agreement here. If I ever get married, I will certainly have a prenup.

If they cook, clean, take care of the bills, etc... so when you get home after a long day at work and can relax, nothing wrong with that. They sit around eating bon bons watching opera and do nothing, then you got a problem! If moneys not an issue, then nothing wrong with it either, but moneys tight and they don't want to work... problem!

F that, mine works and we split the house work...we rotate who does what by week. I can't stand a chic that doesn't pull her weight..

I leave my house at 4:30 am for work and don't get home till 6 at night, so i am not doing any house work when i get home.

i didn't read the rest of the replys so oops if someone already said this... but that is what all women want - at least yours is honest enough to tell you straight up. doesn't necessarily mean she would leave you if you didn't make enough money - but it is every womans perogative to not "have" to work.

Modded to hell Camaro SS (ran high 7s to low 8s)

C6 Vette (Supercharged & a ton of other mods)

Fully setup garage with lifts and every tool imaginable

not all women want to sit at home and not work, and take care of the home like a nice lil wifey...

actually i can do both, i work 40 hours a week bringing in my own money, then i get home cook/clean/take care of any bills/issues that need to be taken care of while my guy lays back after a hard days work. I pride myself on being able to do both, so not all women want that.

my mom always told me "dont rely on a boy to buy you tiffanys, go buy it yourself"
