In my opinion, in order to save everyone alot of time and money, if there is beyond a reasonable doubt, supported by hard evidence, (confession, video tape/survalience(sp), or DNA) to prove 100% that the person committed the crime, there should be NO appeals allowed for that person. If however, they are found guilty by a jury or by a witness (both are flawed) then the person should be allowed to appeal.

Killed for a 4000 air plane piece if I read that small print correctly? Wow, I wish Michigan had the same views as Texas on certain cases like these. Sorry this dude killed your buddy Sarge. Death to him.

Then you make it a death penalty eligible law that if you fabricate evidence and person is executed based on that evidence you are guilty of murder and can be executed....

not fabricated, but if the act is caught on video, the person confesses etc. there should be no appeals process, that would save approx. 20 million bucks per person on death row, add it up, that would take the U.S. almost out of foreign debt.......
