Hi New Member...need some help with ...
How to remove and install new power window motor in my 1998 camaro. I have the interior door facing off and the plastic peeled back. Now I am at a loss as to how I get the old motor off and put on the new motor? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks so much for the link
I really appreciate the reply. That link answered my questions and gives me good instructions on how to replace this motor on my own. You are an assett to this forum. If you know a good source for replacement headlights for my 1998 camaro (not the z28) let me know. Mine are dull looking and I am working on cosmetics now along with some other resroration of this fine car. I had a rebuilt long block installed about a year ago (3800 engine), replaced the axels, overhauled the rear end, replaced control arm bushingsa and ball joints, and tomorrow the rear springs and tortion bar. The exterior and interior is in good condition, and it drives nice. I like this car because it gets pretty fair gas mileage (20-21 MPG) with AC on, and for a six cylinder it can keep up with the best of them. The rear end it light though so have to be carful in rain, and especially ice as you already know about I'm sure.

TY for your kind words.
I am not sure if the Head lights you have on your car are sealed or not?
I have polished the outer plastic/lens on the rear tail lights before using buffing compounds and polishes.
If you can do that you will not have to replace them.
If if you do have to replace I would keep your eyes out for used ones on websites like this one.
There are plenty of cars that are being parted out and you should be able to find a good deal on some used ones...

Again, thanks for the help. I am just getting around to the power window motor after your link that showed me where to drill the holes. Yes my headlights are sealed. I have tried some surface cleaners on the headlights, but have not found one that can cut through the dullness. I have mainly tried J-Wax clear coat polish which is what I use to clean game discs, DVDs, and CDs (it works great), but even this does not work. Do you know of a specific cleaner that works good on these headlights? I have found replacements for just under $300 for a set, but like many, just trying to save a little money as I would rather spend it on new hard parts. I am replacing the front coil springs next week, since I replaced the rear, the difference is amazing. This old car has 202,000 miles on it and the suspension was not made to last forever!
