i got pulled over last night b/c a truck made a right hand turn and as he did, pulled this stupid "semi-trailer" maneuver, swerved left into my lane, then turned right. Well, naturally NO truck ever see's a t/a in it's blind spot, so i dove left to avoid collision and appearantly crossed the center lines a bit in doing so. Cop pulled me over, didn't ticket me but said "People are watching what i do, when you do something like that" I didn't front him at the time but thought to myself "so i should just let the fucker slam me then you'll side with him and say i was following to closely or somes shit"

i don't say shit accept "yes sir/no sir" unless he asks me a direct question. I figure once he pulls me over his decisions are made. He volunteered the commment "people are watching me and i have to react to what you do accordingly, otherwise i wouldn't have done anything"

Not saying you were wrong, but it's sort of like football. A lot of the time it's the SECOND lineman who was committing a penalty that gets the flag.

Just remember that little incident when people get pissed about getting stopped, etc., etc. The public eye on a cop does create those kinds of situations.
