Seriously man, how would someone know you had any vehicle other than a rustang when that's the ONLY fucking car you list????!!! No one here gives a crap about what you ran or dyno. That's why it's called LS1.com not modularcrap.com. Yeah you have a right to post in here but why not post something about your SS, if you actually have one, rather than posting nonesense about your mustang. Please tell what mustang forum you post at so I can become a member.

Mineral Grey- 2005 Mustang GT
We have already gone down this path N20LT4
http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87293&page=2
I have already proved that your one account was either fluke or a bad dyno run. or both.
I have proved that the 4.6 L 3v is not as bad as you say it is, sure it's not as powerful as an engine with over 1 liter more but it holds it's own. I see way too much Misinformation on these forums, why not beleive it from the horses mouth (Pun intended) but not a Ford Fan Boy !!!!!
I am as fair as you will see on this or any other forum. Because I own both cars. (BTW the Mustang is my first ford ever) I have always owned GM.
But I buy what I like andthis time I liked the mustang,

Mineral Grey- 2005 Mustang GT
I actually have one, you live 1 hour from me come down as see it, is was wrecked and I got it cheap. I and I want to built a serious street car.
why are you being a dick, we have conversed her before and you were helpful, whats up dude?
I have been around here for a few months, I have posted this info
http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread...26#post1494626
http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread...77#post1489877
I was posting because of the misinformation being spread on this thread jeeze it's a fucking thread that is about the fucking mustang and Camaro
why would I not post Actual Numbers to combat the invalid perception in here. Damn !!!!
I will also defend the Fbod on Mustang forums when misinformation is being said there.
I have said it here and on other forums, The 4th Gen Camaro is Faster than the Mustang, has more power and mod for mod will always come out on top.
The only way the mustang will beat a camaro is if it has more mods or the camaro is a crappy driver the simple physics tell the story. More Cubes, more HP Equal Weight hmmm Camaro will win what else can be said.
The reason I got the mustang is because I like the way it looked, I love the retro style and the mustang has always sounded better then the camaro.
Beleive it or not thats whatI was looking for when I got the mustang, it was the exhaust note, I was looking at the 2005 GTO and Dodge Charger. and the mustang sounded the best. at teh time power was not what I was looking for, I never inteded to mod this car is just happened because it turned out that it was not enough power for me. but I still loved the car. I also have a down payment on the 2010 Camaro SS if that maters to you.

...Back to dyno pulls, just a few examples:
Stock M5 GT, 263rwhp/286rwt
http://youtube.com/watch?v=dqyV2oeRaoA
Stock M5 Baseline, 256rwhp/279rwt
http://youtube.com/watch?v=dX_EemS73QU
Stock '07 GT M5, 259rwhp/279rwt
http://youtube.com/watch?v=cy8R9uDHCuc
With the above being manual cars, 240-245rwhp for a stock auto car is probably not that uncommon. I've seen two stock A5 S197 pulls, the Roush and another Orange GT that laid somewhere in the high 240's.

Mineral Grey- 2005 Mustang GT
I can do the same thing Dynos are for tuning, there are too many variables
with a dyno, Operator, how tight the car is strapped down, Temps bla bla bla
Bone Stock GT 275rwhp and 290rwtq.
and I can also go out and find low Camaro numbers as well
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/2...stock_7242.htm
But going back and forth on dyno number does not accomplish anything, what I do not understand is why guys with 5.7L engines find it entertaining to cut down and Mock a lesser powered 4.6L car, does make ou even feel better about yourselfs. I could understand it if Ford offered a 5.7L in the Mustang then you would have valid points. But what do you expect from a 4.6L engine. why would you be disapointed in the roush stock numbers, on average the percentage of drive train loss is 15% Man 18% Auto 300 avertized HP - 15% for drive train loss = 255
15% loss from say 345hp = 292. so whats all the fuss about?

yeah lets be a little more sympathetic here guys...ford has only had ten years to come up with a better motor than an ls1 and all they can muster up is a measly 250-260rwhp. you really do have to feel a little sorry for the poor lil fellas.

1/4 mile
Hmmm, were you racing at high altitude? I live in Florida and have a totally stock 2002 WS6 and could not get traction, I had to take off like a grandma and still ran 13.6 at 107 mph.. I raced my freinds Mustang GT he has some mods and leave him so bad that he took his car to the dealer to see if it was running properly..
What's really nice about any 6 speed TA or Camaro is the 28 mpg you get, no one believes me when I tell them Average 25 mpg.

I'm really not trying to be a dick even though it may have come across that way. I just get frustrated that mustang guys come out of the woodwork and feel they have to defend their cars. If you're car is fast, let it do the talking, at least that's how I feel about it. Myself and most other guys here will be more than happy to help you with anything we can concerning your SS, your mustang on the other hand, may not receive to most welcome response.

Yeah, I was getting really excited about Ford bringing out the 6 liter 400hp in the new GT's till they cancelled it. Then, we could have a valid debate. I think it's Fords turn to whip up on GM to make it interesting. They did with the Foxs. Then GM fired right back and has been holding down the N/A power. The problem is Ford has NO MOTIVATION to change anything. As far as the business goes, they sell 5 Stangs to every Camaro so to speak. Sucks for us cuz we wanna shut these guys mouths for once, but we're stuck with the 4.6. AAAAhhhh, just get boost and spank em. I'm bout a year away from that. I can spank some LS boyz now with the little mods I have so that's good enough to keep me smiling for now. I can't get the 10/11 second boyz yet, but I got plans
.

LoL, They did come up with a better motor. You just haven't been paying attention. A forged/blown 4.6 4valve found in a Terminator for about the same price range as the Fbodies. If I had a choice of an LS1 and a Termie motor. It'd be a Termie, no doubt.
That thing can take plenty more than and LS1. You can get an LS1 about 400 450rhwq-ish N/A before tearing into them? Okay, try and put 15lbs of boost to a stock LS1 and watch the pistons and rods fly. You can put alot more power into them Termies before you have to tear into them, so to answer your claim that they haven't come out with a better motor, I disagree. They already have. You just missed it. The Termie can take alot more than your motor. Don't get me wrong, your motor is best at putting down N/A numbers, but to say it's the best motor put into a 30,000 car is a lil too cocky.Last edited by Camarofan; 07-02-2008 at 02:44 AM.

yeah i was waiting for someone to bring that up (as you ford guys always use as a crutch when we spank the pants off of you), but guess what chief, since you want to compare supercharged motors to n/a motors lets compare s/c motors to s/c motors. the ls9 s/c to your whimpy little s/c 4.6...ls9 s/c 638hp 604tq, 4.6 s/c 390hp 390tq.

Yes, the LS9 is a beauty. My arguement wasn't with the LS9. It was to dispute they other guys claim that Ford has had 10 years and couldn't come out with a better engine. Well, the Termie would destroy anything in it's 30,000 class. It's been called the GNX of the 2000's. It was the best buy for about 30K in the 2000's. The LS1 was the best buy from 98 to 02. GM and Dodge(Srt's cept for the lil Srt4) uses displacement and higher compression ratios to raise compression. Ford just says fucc it and slaps a blower on there. Both are good ways to put down more power. IMO, having a built motor from the factory is a better choice. You should begin to see the ignorance of our whole lil bashing episode. Each car manufacturer can jump up and say, "here, beat this". Each do it differently. Your crutch would be a valid point. You don't come supercharged. The LS9 is supercharged, but what is the displacement? Also, do you have any idea what the cost of the ZR-1 is going to be? That car is definately not 30 to 35K so it's not in the comparison for best car in our class. It's a better buy than the Ford GT IMO.
Do you think you can toast every wimpy Cobra??? I wouldn't cruise the streets thinking I was hot shit and can beat every Stang I see because one of those lil 4.6's is going to suprise you one day if it hasn't happened already.Last edited by Camarofan; 07-02-2008 at 05:46 AM.

i dont think i can beat every stang.. the only ones i usually worry about are foxbodies... and unless its a pullied/exhaust/intake termy.. i dont worry too much...
not saying i cant get beat by a newer stang.. its just people dont seem to mod them as much as termys or fox bodies so usually there is absolutely nothing to worry about..
lmao... and even if it was a 1500hp mustang... i still wouldnt "worry"... lol
