Exhaust wrap
Is exhaust wrap worth it? i plan on doing headers, they are ceramic coated, so i was wondering would wrapping it be good? would it keep down the heat in the engine compartment any, or would i just be adding more weight to the car?

the only thing that might be worth it would be the plug wires. see how they fit with the headers.

It will shorten the life of the header also. I have seen pictures of header primaries that had cracks and even holes in them from the steel being fatigued due to the wrap.

+1 and also the wrap will hold moisture and shorten the life of the ceramic coating itself.
I'd only use wrap if there were severe heat problems under the hood...ie super highly modified motor.
I do use it on the back half of the custom undertail exhaust on the bike so her cute little butt don't get burnt

thats stuffs only useful if you have a turbo. puts more pressure on the turbine because it stays hotter and the molecules are more spread out. but it can hold moisture which is definitely bad.
