Do i need a tune?
Ok I am getting 4.10 gears, so would that throw the speedometer off so, if so how much or less? What would I need to do to get it calibrated ?

You can use a hand held tuner like a preditor or similar products to get change the gears.

It should. basically it can do what a tune can just not as good. I mean the redoing the speedometer will be the same and deleting the DTC codes, and you can put a custom tune on it with the preditor. However, the tune is always the best from a dyno tune, but you pay for it . $400 usally. If you have never had your car dyno tuned its a really cool experiance I think worth it. but im waiting till I do HC to get another one done cause I don't have $400 to spend everytime I want a code deleted. thats why I have the preditor.

All of mine, on both my cars, have been dead-on.
Too bad you had a bad experience.
Maybe he should go with a Trifecta tune......

From who?
C'mon.....help the Longhorn out !!!!!!!
Don't know.
But as you can see in the link, they have a lot of positive testimonials.
BTW.....Trifecta reputedly does not do any mail-order tuning themselves.....they e-mail you PCM4Less tunes for you to download into your PCM.
But that can't be true......since PCM4Less is such crap .....

So says the all knowing, all seeing, vag owner ..........
Look, in my 12 years of racing I will say that a dyno tune is preferable to a mail order tune.
But to say that mail order tunes aren't worth a shit because you had a bad experience......well, you just lost what little credibilty you could've had.
It could be that your car is FUBER'ed so that will fix your issues short of installing quality parts that compliment each other.
It just could be..........
