Would you consider trading it for an 35th anniversary 02' Camaro LS1 B4C with intake/exhaust mods, Nick Williams Dyno Tune of 315rwhp & 332rwtq, recent tires-rotor-pads-alignment-shocks-plugs-wires-160 therm-radiator hoses? Same car has HD suspension/rebuilt HD tranny with warranty/HD electric/373s/ram air/TBC/102k on motor and body/never worry about emmisions again /Fuel pump trap door/Full size spare/great condition/Have all reciepts since rebuild began at 99k...
I'd take your car and $$$ in trade, as long as car is in acceptable condition to me. Why? Because I had more fun building mine. Now I'd like to go extreme. Pull the driveline out of a diff car, drop in a stroker 383, cammed/truck transmission and moser 12 bolt with HD suspension OR keep the V6 but rebuild it....NOT! Get that LS1 in here! WHat you got for $$$? What do you think car is worth?Last edited by TedsB4Csled; 05-08-2008 at 10:47 PM. Reason: spell

Or maybe you need to come up this way and take out my drive line, put it in your car and give me a few $$$. You get an LS1 w/rebuilt tranny and 373 with the PCM tuned to 315rwhp & 332rwtq AND I can drop somethin' I cook up into mine later. Keep cars....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...of course I am writing this at 3:29am....but.......?

I think your going to get some bias answers i mean you are asking thing question on LS1.com. But if you want my opinion go with the LS1 they are amazing engines.

You're yound. Insurance will kill you on an ls1 car. Do the swap or supercharge it. SC will be an aesier job.

Black- 1990 Firebird
Centrifugal S/C is the easiest to install, but most expensive.
Cheapest horsepower bump is nitrous and is easy to install.
Turbo is in the middle depending on how much you can fabricate. I made a turbo kit for my car for about $1200.

Insurance will be too much, they're right. Throw a decent exhaust and lid, maybe gears... is it an auto? You got plenty of time, why not build a V8 motor on the side and enjoy what you got? I was going to build up a V6, but that fell through. Why doesn't $$$ grow on trees
What auto tranny does a V6 have???

This guy is probably dieing for a LS1. When I have my v6 firebird I was hating it. IMO I would do a swap first. If you can't do that trade her in on a 98-02 camaro or firebird. Don't waste money on the v6. Supercharging it won't even get you to a stock ls1.

There is a turbo V6 yellow car that puts my SS to shame rwhp wise.

White- 1999 Camaro
There is a guy down in North Carolina that has a supercharged V6 and his horse power on the car is 300 rwhp. Which i thought was not bad. But for myself i have a 1999 camaro with a V6 same as him, thats what i am going to do to mine.
