You know I sort of have a feeling I'm gonna be kinda lonely in here since there were only 1,547 of these gold camaros built in the 4th gens. But o'well, you still got to represent your color!!!

Damn, didn't know they were that rare. I actually saw my first SOM car the other day...Then I saw one of the dark metallic red Maros as well. Didn't even know they came in that dark red till the other day...Can't say I've ever seen a gold one though...

Yea Gold was only offered in 98 and they built 1,542, but they actually built 5 more of them in 99 for a Days Inn promotion. The promotion was developed in 98 when Gold was a stock color, but I guess they just didn't get them built until 99.
