Do airlines check your prescription pills?

I will be flying tomorrow and im taking numerous bottles of prescription pills that i need, yes they are legit and i have a prescription for them, but i also will be taking a couple pain pills with me that i usually need but they have no bottle. Do they actually go through your medicines and that kind of stuff?

if they are carry ons they check and they need to be in a bottle

i wouldnt bring anything without a prescription you can show them, they can be assholes and pills with no prescription is a big deal

Just put the ones you have a prescription for in your bag and the ones you don't in your pocket. Just put them in a baggy or something and they won't show up and you'll be fine.

you can have the pills in your pocket, just have the script pills in your luggage

Grind them up into powder, then put it in a Clear Zip-Lock baggie. Then Write Anthrax, Cocaine, Meth, etc...whatever you like.

when they go through the luggage(not carry-on) do they open up all your prescription bottles? maybe ill put them in a bottle

I just traveled and my wife said the same thing. She travels weekly. Have everything in a prescription bottle. Might not be the exact pill in there but atleast it looks like it.
