I was hoping someone would get that.
I've seen less weight. It's a shame really
And if you're grip really IS that weak.... You need a lot more help than what straps give you
They're all 40-year-old sarcastic limping doctors?

teal- 99 Z28 with an SS complex
boxing is were it is at...=)
Yeah being trained in something builds confidence like no other, but it also scares me too. I mean i know what i can do to a guys face, but what if the other guy can do the same but better than i can, you can never tell.
by house i mean, big as hell................these guys are massive. Besides that those old guys have walking sticks, i don't know if you've ever been hit by a nightstick, that shit hurts like no other..........good quality walking sticks are just like night sticks, and houses have money to buy the good shit.......
i think blacksmoke just means he is not so scared to stand up now, that is good man build that conifidence up, hopefully that will push you to get even better....................I was the same way when i was learning to box. I was about 6 or five and getting my ass handed to me by the neighborhood bullies, i was scared to stand up for myself, but once i learned how to use my hands i was mister little bad ass for years to come.....that was until i had my ass royally beat and i learned what it felt like to really get your ass kicked. I had small kid syndrome.=)
oh and i wiped my buddies affliction shirt on my armpits today, i then ran a couple of miles and not once did i sweat................!Last edited by zero_proto; 05-19-2008 at 11:12 PM. Reason: dookie typing skills

Some dude in a shopping center tried to do that to a buddy of mine. My friend was an all-state wrestler in PA (I believe he wrestled in the 178lb class...) and walks around normally at around 215-220 without an ounce of fat on his body, and he's strong as shit.
Anyway, this kid with a Tapout shirt was walkin down the sidewalk with his "hardass" strut with 2 of his much smaller friends. He intentiaonally bumped into my buddy and my friend said smething to the effect of "wow, you're tough." The kid got in his face and started talkin blah blah I do MMA, blah blah, and pushed my friend...That was it, and then the kid was on the ground getting his face smashed in, then choked out haha. Just goes to show that you never know who you're gonna fuck with.
I understand what you mean though, and I hate when you see someone that looks like they are just wearing that shirt because they want to "feel" like a badass. You don't have to advertise to be confident...

i don't see any problem with people wearing affliction shirts...just because they where it doesnt mean they think they are badasses or cool becasue of it...some of them im sure do but not all of them...some people where it becasue they are a fan of the clothing style, some where it becasue they are fans of the UFC, and some wear it to be badasses...
So i guess everyone that wears a professional athletes football, baseball, basketball or hocky jersey is a poser right?? People that wear Jordan clothing are trying to act like they are mike?? Or if someone where the Lebron James Witness T-shirt thinks they are the next Lebron..lol..Who cares wear what you wear and let them wear what they wear...I am big into MMA and it doesnt bother me when i see people wearing the clothes...they make some sic shirts i really cant blame people for wearing them..

No no, the guy was about his size too, but his friends were little. They didn't say SHIT the whole time (I'm not a small guy either lol).
But he was a punk and he did get his ass owned!
I tackled a guy from high school about a month ago (he was gangin up on my cousin) and he couldn't get me off of him (trains in mma and wrestled in high school and weighs about the same as me 225ish but is much more ripped) He talks so much shit and thinks he can take anyone...I was drunk as shit, he was sober, and he couldn't get me off of him. I just hate people like that.

im guessing they never taught you lesson #1,
never under estimate your opponent.
thats a really hard lesson when learned.
i had the displeasure of learning that lesson by a guy who was 8 inches shorter than me and 50 pounds lighter.
he was better trained in whatever MA he studied in and i was rather well trained in akido.
