Silver- 2004 SVT Cobra
Z28 vs Procharged 07 GT
Had the luck of racing a Procharged GT the other night. We took off easy from the light and at about 20 i heard him nail it, so i did the same. We went up to about 90 and it was dead even. Dont know how though the guy should have won without a doubt. When we slowed down he asked me what i had done to the motor on my car, told him nothing internal just an air intake and catback. I dont think he believed me though, and how that car didnt smoke my ass is beyond me. Go ahead and call BS i would too if i didnt see it for myself.

Sounds like the Mustang needs a driver or tuner "mod."
'01 BMW 330ci: Race it in a modified class in BMW CCA Club Racing and NASA endurance races.
'04 Lincoln LS V8 Sport: Stock.
'04 Mustang Cobra coupe (white/gray): Modified.

Ya i was shocked myself. I think if he would have shifted a little quicker than he did he could have edged me out, but still he should have won without a problem.

No traction! Not as much HP as with, say a proper tune. I wanted a Mustang originally, but heard that the 400hp got trumped by stock LS1 with bolt-ons often, not always. I'll have videos up on my YouTube account with proof
....unless they don't want to video our race...hehehehehe!

Mustangs do sound much better than camaro's though. IMO
As good as they sound though, none have beat me yet...

Ya it did sound quite amazing as he let off right after me. Mustangs always sound great, especially cobras.

You shouldn't be able to hear them with your cutout open.
