If you are going to put in a nice stereo system buy a powermaster. If you aren't, just buy whatever the parts store has. The dealerships rip you off. I wish I had bought a powermaster earlier, I blew 2 alterntors in a week becuase I didn't know that you weren't supposed to run your high powered stereo w/ your car off. A powermaster wouldn't have stopped that but It would have been able to handle the fully drained charge load better.

You didn't specify what your system consists of. If you only have a small amp on some 6x9's then stock would be fine. I prefer new on my own vehicles no reman crap.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

Black/Black- 2000 Trans Am WS6 A4
You really need to check the output at different RPMS, because a lot of the "high-output" alternators put out LESS at idle, causing dim headlights, and really low voltage, until you get over 2000 RPM. I don't know about you guys, but 99% of the time, I'm under 2000RPM, unless I'm on the highway, then I hit like 2200...

I have used a few of their drag race kits. The 50amp and the 100amp and had No issues.
From the experience I have had with their product has all been good.

Good day guys.
I wanted to share with you a new website for ordering replacements parts and repair kits for your cars alternators or starter motors. You can buy all replacement parts for alternators and starter motor i.e regulators, rectifiers, brushes, brush holders, bearings, solenoids, gears, bendix, tools and many more all in one place at "saverepair".
You can easily find any part you looking for by entering your parts serial number in search box, this will bring up all the suitable parts for the part.Last edited by SMWS6TA; 11-14-2016 at 06:49 AM.
