Another thing...On my las run, 13.2 @110, the lady at the time slip booth said that I need a helmet next time...WTF??? Anyone know a good place to buy a cheap Snell rated helmet?

LOL,,,yep anything 13.99 or quicker requires a helmet.

Ya. I have dipped below that on a regular basis without a cage, harness etc.. with a pair of cars. But I just can't bring myself to cut on the cars. Lucky for me there is a certain track in the area that is soft on this stuff and they let it slide. I have been doing a few things to the car and widdling the time down even more. I have a feeling that eventually they will say something,,,I will have to do a throttle stop or just quit taking it to the track,,,,It's 99% street car anyway. I'll just jump in something slower,,,I have the same amount of fun anyway.

My father on the other hand has had a goal of getting booted from the track for years. We finally build him a motor capable,,and late last year after tuning it cracked off an 11.32 and they said thats it,,,,don't come back without a cage.

My father was the happiest man alive,,,he came strutting back to the trailer and pulled it inside with the biggest smile I had ever seen,,,after all these years he got what he wanted He's funny that way.

ya the 13.99 rule sucks but if you want a helment and dont want to spend big cash go to the local sport bike shop and look at them there thats where me and my buddys get ares i think my helment was about $60

11.5 = cage-- (I didn't know that a basic bolt on zo6 needed a cage)-- that is wild.

Looks like the ZR1 and the GT-R will both need stock roll cages.. wtf?
