slp cold air induction and volant air induction

So I wanted to get slp's cold air induction kit, but did not want to use the slp lid. Can I get the slp cold air induction kit and use it with the volant intake, or does the slp CAI have to be used with the slp lid?

its possible but you would have to cut out the bottom of the Volant box. Probably more work than its worth.

i would say just go with the volant

The volant uses its own box that actually seals to the hood box, I dont believe there would be any advantage to cutting it up. if you do not have the ram air hood I am not too sure, but I believe it still seals and pulls in from the intake slots.

hey i have to say i own a SLP kit and im not proud of it , i wish i would have went with volant , but thats only my opinion.. good luck

ive heard ram air and cold air contradict each other. have one or the other, not both. and dont get a slp's cold air get fast toys or ssra.
