HID Headlight Conversion
just want to get some information from you guys. what do yall think about an HID headlight conversion. i already got the headlight conversion from eurolamps.com and i like them, but i researched the HID set up, and didnt know where i could mount all the wiring, and the ballast without the headlights chewing up the wires from opening up and closing.

I've seen them run it right in front of the radiator. I've been thinking about getting it done but the boxes are the problem

I have them and no problems with rubbing wires and lights are 300 percent better than stock. I mounted ballasts on steel bumper behind cover.

First off you need the sealed beam conversion kit witch you get at www.eurolights.com around $80 then go to ebay motors and do a search for the seller hidking and get the h7 hid kit around $100 go to autozone and get two h7 pig tails to replace your stock plugs.

How do the eulolights HIDs compare to the LEDgauges HIDs compare. Is 1 better than the other. The LEDgauges HIDs cost more, but are they better quality?? I don't mind spending a little more if the quality is better.

I got the LED kits and they are bitchen. VERY pricey at 550.00 for both fogs and low beam kits. Iwent with the 8000 headlights and 6000 fog.

I believe that led guages and eurolights both sell the same sealed beam conversions ( same quality). The differance is the acctual hid kit, led guages has a mark up of their own. I just eliminated the middle man and bought my hid kit off of ebay. The only problem with buying off ebay is that a lot of sellers will sell you bad quality hid kits. The bad kits do things like flicker on and off and not come on at all at times, cause bad interferance with all radio stations, things of that nature. I have got hooked up with a seller that sells high quality products witch I have two kits in my cars alone, not to mention a half dozen of my friend's cars. The hid kit from him have absolutley NONE of the problems I mentioned above. He sells all of the different color temperatures and all hid kits I will add them to my fogs soon. If anyone is interested look him up on ebay do a seller search for hid king, his prices are very reasonable. Please contact me with any other questions, I'll be glad to help!

Looks good!
1) How difficult was the install of the 6k HID foglamp kit?
2) Where did you mount the ballasts? My past experience just changing out a burned out bulb left me wishing I was multi-jointed lol.
3) Was this the LED Gauges kit?
4) Was it plug'n' play without cutting any wires?
5) Do you notice any difference in the amount of heat on the plastic foglamp lens compared with the heat output from the original 27w 880 bulb?1999 BLACK WS6 RAM AIR TRANS AM A4 (1 of 274 WS6 coupe Canada only models)
