I like it. I would like an ls1 swap more, but that is impressive. I like the whole package of it. it has a nice look and all.

thats a disgrace to the supra and more importantly the camaro. the motor would be great in a supra, and the camaro would be a niiiice resto-custom-mod with a ls1 or a chevy but i can't do that combo.

Yeah.. I wouldn't have put the supra engine in.. LS1 would have made more sense. The interior work is fantastic on that car, though. Amazing style. and looks comfortable.
I would have done different wheels, too.
but great quality work

Yea but how many 1st gens with LSx motors are there out there? ALOT. How many will you or have you ever seen like this one? None!
He gets points for being different, if every ricer can go out and throw an LS1 in a 240sx or an RX7, why can't we take their "prized" 2JZ supra motor and put it in a 1st gen.
Those motors are nothing to sneeze at, that car is probably capable of 1000 hp no problem. That isn't to say that an LS motor couldn't acheive the same numbers but it is different and that is what counts!

I think its a bit like puttin a ford 302 in a 4th gen camaro,
It just don't make sense!
But hey, to each his own!
(BTW I could probably get a 1,000 hp by turboing my crap, would probably hold it just as well as that toyota motor too.)

Here in canuckland you can buy Toyota "Soarer's" which is the jdm equivalent to sc300 with the 2jz motor, you can pick up a 60k mile car for under 5 grand in minty shape. Same with the Toyota Aristo which is a 4dr sedan with the 2jz as well. Cheap as borsch!
Can you import jap cars into the US??
We are starting to get the 93TT supras from japan too and they are still pretty cheap... around 10k will get you a mint one.. but you gotta put up with the wrong hand drive haha

awesome. that's about how much an sc300 is around here. I wanted to get one when I had money, but then I messed up a differential. so then I didn't have the money to put down on it. I just love the 2jz. the internals are the shit out of the box. it's the perfect motor to build a big turbo setup for. that's pretty cool that yall have a 4door version of it. that would just be sick. I looked into making one out of a camry, but I never had the money. lol. I thought that would be a sick sleeper. I already had the trd supercharger from the factory. it was just plain fun on the highway. sucked at the strip though.

Thats really awesome that we live in a country at a time when we can throw away money on stupid shit like turboed 4 door cars and massive gas guzzling V8s.
I especially like when somebody said upgrading an already turboed car for $7,000-WTF!
Oh yeah, and cars for only $5K...okie dokie
you guys are too much!

I never was much for the retro crap on older muscle. I don't like much of anything on the car except the sheetmetal.
As for the engine,,,I would have put a ford motor in it before I resorted to the foreign side.
As far as 50's through the 70's muscle cars,,,I pretty much like to leave things as they were. Why change a good thing.
I hope they did that to a plain jane 6 cyl car. If that started life as a real RS I think I'll go jump off a cliff now.
