Thank you, I had to have the work done in a shop, same place that did the tuning not to far from my apartment.

Vengence has had plenty of 500rwhp stock bottom end builds with trick flow heads; care to take a guess how many Patriot setups there are on a stock bottom making those numbers with just cam and intake?

I don't like to argue, but Frost has been around a month or to. I would take his word over many. And correct me if I am wrong but Frost haven't you been in the car of the month also. Or maybe it was sponser of the month, I get confused sometimes.

Maybe you misread, you and your two buddies did not make over 500rwhp with your stock bottom ends and Patriot heads. The Trickflows have made that number and done it more than once or twice.

Guy I am sending my car to is a trickflow dealer. He does their heads and springs, custom grind cam, different rockers than the one in the package from Summit. I personally saw the dyno sheet on a car with the heads, cam, LTs, catted Y pipe, magnaflow catback, UD pully, ported oil pump, ported FAST 90, nick williams 90mm tb, 85MM MAF, injectors, and another thing or two.

It put down 482/435. For those keeping score at home, thats somewhere in the range of 550-560 at the crank. Thats spitting in the eye of the import guys who feel so badass about their twin cam VTEC engines that make 100 hp per litre in N/A form. So can we... and I'll take my 5.7 litres over their 2. Hell, I have a 300zx TT that only has like 325, and thats got a pair of turbos slamming air into and out of it.

I asked him what he thought about Patriot heads. He said he would sell them to me as part of the package listed above, but wouldn't put them on my car, because he takes too much pride in his work.

I talked to another local shop that is actually a patriot dealer, and he tries to steer people away from patriot as well if you're serious about makeing power.

Bottom lime is power costs $.

WOW....I hope my numbers are really close to those! My FAST 92mm is not ported but I dont run cats. Other than that, I will pretty much have the same setup. I hope I am close. I will post the dyno sheet as soon as everything is done.

Frost- Are we talking flywheel hp or rear wheel hp because I personally called trick flow this weekend and they laughed when I asked them if that kit made it to the wheels, they told me it was to the flywheel and that there are no heads and cam only with no bolt ons that can make that power...

Trick Flow states just heads and cam, Is this just heads and cam though? I guarentee they have bolt ons...... You can't make 500hp or over on just heads and cam you have to have bolt on's....

reading is hard to come by in this thread.

The idea of what the kit makes is yours; you never read that from me, kinda like when you said that you and your buddy had made 500+ with Patriots, but you missed stock bottom end. All of this started when you said you could do what they did with Patriots and cheaper. I made the remark that Partiot heads have *NEVER* made over 500rwhp on a stock bottom end, and that the Trick Flows have on more than one occasion. It's like 10-11 posts back....
