First time at the track
Last night I finally made it up the track to run my car. I was hoping for 12's but ran a best of 13.1 @107 with a 2.0 60'. I have headers and a lid and I'm running 315 555R's. The tires hooked up great but I was bogging off the line. I was launching my car at 4k and was still bogging. Where should I be launching my car from? And also I'm open to any other suggestions. Last night was my frist time ever running at a track so I really had no idea was I was doing but I had a great time. I was thinking about investing in a set of 4.10's. What kind of mph and e.t. increases can I expect with those? Thanks.

sounds like you did pretty good... what are your mods? i have 275 of the same tires and i launch at 3800 and thats perfect... so 315's would be a bit closer to the 42-4400 range... but i wouldnt do that with a stock rearend.. it will break fast

I have exhaust and a lid. When I was bogging at 4k I was thinking about launching closer to 5 but I was just too scared to do it. My best 60' of the night was only a 1.9.

yeah im on 275's and cut a 1.93... which i consider to be good for an m6 stock rear, pussy footing it to not break the rear... just either give it time or buy a better rear... btw if you are taking pressure out of the rear tires... try to put more air in it, and not heat them up so much.. that way you can launch at same rpm and possibly not bog

Not sure about how the 4.10s will help, but here is a formula to see how much HP a car makes:
HP = (MPH/234)3 x weight of car. MPH is your trap speed. Your 107 MPH works like this:
HP = (0.4572649)3 x 3600 (guessing your car's wieght with you in it)
HP = 0.09561 x 3600
HP = 344.196 (I believe this is flywheel HP)
Assuming 12% stickshift drivetrain loss, this is about 302.89248 RWHP.
