I sure miss my Silver Trans Am as a Daily Driver. I traded it in for a G8 for my wife this past weekend and driving the Saturn now. I see some nice recent additions to this thread!!!! I still have my Red Ricer TA in the Garage!

Let me cut in and post my Black Metallic Panther G8 if you don't mind! Curtis, I have a black one now.... dusting black is a bitch for you can still see the dirt grain.

I just noticed something. If those are Silverline tips like mine, then that is only the second LS1 car I have seen with those tips.

Kudos to you and your Black TA. Everything on that vehicle is very appealing....even the rims. With 20's, your vehicle is floating quite high...... years ago, I felt that bigger wider rims makes the car pimping... these days as I notice all the big rims on Camaros, etc, floats the vehicle two high, they remind me of Canoes if you will.

If you attempt to lower that TA, I'm sure it will hit the wheel wells. I have 18's on mind and they to will scrap the front wells when attempting to do a sharp U turn.

Hey Ottawa, the best thing about the G8 are those stock 5 spoke 19" rims.... they manufacture that mother really well. You can't even tell they are 19s and fit the well superbly......taking the vehicle home from the dealership and washing the vehicle well, I can barely fit my hand in between the tires. The stance has a perfect slope... I wished our TA came the same way stock.

When I choose to get a catback on this baby, it will be cinch to install without having to cut any pipes like on an Fbody.... look where you disconnect the bolt for the duo mufflers. Can't get any easier than that, though it will probably cost more for two mufflers!

Yes they are silverline tips, I thought I had the only t/a with them. I have only seen them on trucks.

Man! I'm checking out the spy pics of the 2010 Camaro's interior........ it looks freakin awful despite how many people on there keeps stipulating that it's preproduction. So many of those enthusiast are into that vehicle that don't give a care despit the internal getup. I mentioned to them not letting their interested get the better of them when paying for a $30k plus vehicle...

Here are some images of the G8 Interior.... the Interior is super for a $30k vehicle.... I'll take some closer shot so you can see the texture on the dash tomorrow. The grain is are small triangles that remind me of Spidermans futuristic web. Also, the right elbow rest is super comfortable compared to our Fbody, there is not slipping etc. on it.

How does it feel compared to your TA as far as speed, LS1 TA of course? Speed wise and acceleration?
