Front end: less boxy more aerodynamic and keep the ram air hood. Bring the front to more of a low tip bevelled front end. Rear end/passenger area is good.

Looks great. Needs a little more Pontiac look to the grill and bring out the bottom spoiler a bit. Still looks better than the Camaro.

They may say the Firebird id dead. They also said that the mustang was going to be cancelled a few years ago and look where it is now.

I kinda agree with that. I think if the Firebird is to ever come back, the GTO will have to be gone first.

Shortly after I posted that I read on another forum that GM stated the Bird wouldn't be redone. I still that rendering looks much better than the Camaro. Anyone seen what the next gen GTO is supposed to look like? I saw some pics a while back and it is hideous IMO. Need to try and dig up some pictures.

i work at a chevy dealership and we all heard a while back that there was no green light for the camero. i think they both look awesome though what a shame

Well , you know the GTO is not american made. It is some Aussie car. They are also haveing alot of problems with the car. Everytime a read a review by the buyers,not press. They always complain about the manual trans. aka GTO good idea.....bad car!!!

Really like the Black retro "Bandit" version on the first post. Would like to see that in the Gold version also. Reminds me of the Gold '78 T/A I used to own.

Too Bad it's just a "Photo-chop" creation, but it's a hell of an idea for a new bird.
