pacesetter mids

Summit wants $430 for some ceramic pacesetter "mids"(they're actually shorties but call them mids for some reason)...do you guys think it'll be worth the money? I'm thinking about getting the H/C package from Thunder....with the cheater cam and AFR 205s to be a little exhaust bias because I can't have LT's.Cam specs 214/230 .601/.578 117 LSA

I'm thinking the visual factor might be worth it alone....I know shorties will flow about the same as 00 manifolds...but what about with a mild H/C package, does it help at all? Thanks all

being in cali, you really dont have much choice about headers.
as for the cheater cam, i would get a 224/224. peeps still pass cali smog with that cam.
a 224/224 and afr 205 heads have dynoed 430 rwhp.
i dont like the lift on the cheater cam. thats alot of lift on a small cam.
