Billet Aluminum Adjustable Belt tensioners for F-bodys for Sale!
I make a billet aluminum belt tensioner for the Ls1 F-bodys. It's made here in USA from 6061 T6 Aircraft grade Aluminum with Grade 8 fasteners. You re-use your stock pulley and mounting bolts.
Price is $75.00 + shipping.
Pics are available at:

email me at edster75@earthlink.net or PM me if your interested in one.
Thanks for looking,
Ed

Those look great- I dont know if you make these or not but if a thin aluminum cover could be made to cover the wheel (held by the centerbolt)-it would really dress it up.

Thanks, I make them as a side job in my machine shop. That's a good Idea for the pulley cover. I was trying to make them as simple and light as possible. They do look a lot better than the stocker though. For now they are just bare aluminum, In the future I might get some anodized, maybe even hard anodized. What do you guys think.

I like the looks of them Ed
I took my stocker and had it powdercoated a few year ago. I think the anodized option would be a great feature to offer as well.
What other pieces can you make or have you considered making?

Thanks, I'm thinking about making, billet tensioner pulleys, billet valve covers, and maybe throttle bodies. It seems like some of the ls1 parts are way overpriced, like the other adjustable tensioners
Btw, here is a pic of the machine I made the tensioners on. http://www.ewwenterpriseinc.com/images/Okuma_5.JPG

I picked on of these up from Ed. First rate product and first rate guy. I took some wenol to it and it shines like a mirror.

Yeah, cnc is great. I started running manual bridgeports and lathes about 10 years ago. Got my first cnc mill about 5-6 years ago. Haven't looked back yet. You should see the chips fly running this job
Aluminum is my favorite material to machine.
Btw if your looking for a garage cnc, a lot of people have been happy with the small sharp machines. a 24" x by 12" y sharp is under 40k with box ways.
I sold all of the first batch of the tensioners, and another batch is on the way, but I haven't had any time to make them yet.

Yep...you can really "throw chips" with aluminum. Cutters last all day. We machined stuff as soft as teflon...to as hard as titanium. No matter how many times I made somthing, it never ceased to amaze me! Lol...the cheapest CNC is out of my budget at the moment, but down the road, I think I'd be satisfied with a small manual lathe. Most of our CNC's were made by Cincinati Millacron with a few Lodge & Shipley's thrown in. Heh...some had chucks big enough to strap a six foot man to! Thanx for the FYI on the "garage machine" and keep up the good work!! The pieces are beautiful, and if I decide to "bling out" the 'bird underhood, I'll drop ya' a mail! Thanx man!

Dumb question but is this spring loaded like stock or do you tighten it down with bolts?
