Yeah that thing has to be really hard on parts!! I was talking to a worker there last year and he said brake pads of some sort and rollers have to be replaced on a daily basis due to the stress level they see. He also said that is why no other park has anything that fast due to maintenance cost's.
The newest ride the Maverick was like that when we were there last year. Shit we even waited in line for an hour for nothing trying to ride that thing 3 different times on two different days.
I'm riding that sum bitch this year!!
Sandusky isn't that bad you just need to bring watercraft, booze, and woman! What else could you possibly need. Yeah there isn't anything else really around there other than Lake Erie. But shit you can easily have a good 3 days of fun between the rides,water-park,,and fun in the lake. We have taken jet skis up there a couple times and rented a boat once. I was thinking about doing some fishing up there on Erie this year................
There has got to be a nice selection of fish in that little lake.
We rented one of the cabins on site for the first time last year and it's well worth the money!Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

Hmmm. Haven't been to Santa Clause for about 8 years, I've heard about the newest coaster there, about 5 years old now? Always a top rated coaster also. We are planning on going there this summer, maybe June.
Went to Indiana Beach the past 3 summers, time for a change.
Haven't been to Ceadar Point in about 7 years now, gotta get back there too!

It was BAD ASS. It rotates slowly but it swings @ 70mph and goes past 90* so when you end up in the right place on the rotation your falling down out of your seat now resting on the restraint ready to fall to your death.........
Nice rush. The first time I left my socks on. Once I took them off OH MY GOD with the air rushing through your toes you feel like your going even faster!

I have been to a lot of parks across the country. Knotts Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags San Antonio, riden the coasters in Las Vegas, Hershey Park, Busch Gardens in Florida, Universal: Islands of Adventure, Kings Island, even went to a park in Korea that was interesting. I have ridden coasters almost every where I go, and I can honestly say that Cedar Point is the BEST park, with the BEST coaster of anywhere I have ever, EVER been. If you like Coasters than Cedar Point is a must go place. You have not lived till you have been to Cedar Point, period!
